6 Tips To Help You Stay Consistent With Your Habits

Have you ever felt like giving up because you were having an “off” day, or when you were too busy, tired and didn't exercise for multiple days in a row?

Your habits won’t always be perfect.

  • Your lifestyle will inevitably change. It’s part of life.

  • Your body changes constantly. This is also part of life.

  • Your physical and social environment will change. It’s normal.

  • Your life situation will change. You will adapt.

Sometimes, you’ll be having a great week and you’ll feel like nothing can bring you down and your lifestyle is now perfect.

From time to time, you’ll face harder periods, where it’s more difficult to achieve the same amount, or maintain your ideal lifestyle. Getting into your routine may even be harder and that’s totally okay!

When you’re feeling “off” instead of returning to your old habits and stopping your progress, can you try:

🌿 Going back to your wellbeing foundation. What’s important for your health at the moment? Which areas are more important or can you prioritize?⁣⁣

🌿 Learning to be okay with your current situation & showing self-compassion⁣⁣

🌿 Being mindful of your triggers, which choices/reactions can you control?⁣⁣

🌿 Learning to adapt your decisions depending on your environment or life situation

⁣⁣

🌿 Focusing on being grateful and appreciating the small daily wins ⁣⁣

🌿 Knowing when to reach out for help/support⁣⁣

Developing a healthy lifestyle and relationship with food, stress, exercise, and your body takes time. Your daily practice will be easier to follow as you stay consistent and learn to adjust when needed.

Keep showing up!
